Dubai land department are Looking at ways to speed up transfers in line with what is believed a revival of Dubai Real estate in 2012.

Dubai Land department is looking at efficiencies in order to facilitate the transfer of properties that are being sold, currently the process involves the buyer and seller or their representatives attending a transfer meeting at the land department.

New plans include the pre-registration on line of the details pertaining to the transfer so that transfer times can be drastically reduced, once all the documents have been approved a pre- booked slot time can be assigned so that buyer and seller only have to do the physical transfer of the managers cheque and re-issue of the title deed in the new owners name hoping that the transfers will be down to 45 minutes or less.
